Atlanta Chalk Artist (formerly San Diego Chalk Artist) was founded in 2015. Principal artist Katie Bush has two art degrees and has been active as a professional chalk artist since 2013, branching into sign lettering and design in 2014. Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, she co-founded the Georgia Chalk Artists Guild.
With over a decade of experience as a street painter, Katie provides high quality chalk art and painted mural services for Atlanta and beyond. She is available for travel and often jets around the country to lead chalk art workshops, create chalk art, or paint murals.
Katie has experience with traditional chalk, soft pastels, sidewalk chalk, chalk pens, and has developed her own permanent chalk treatment.
